Wine Reduces Covid Risk?

Wishful thinking or valid research? The Daily Mail reported on February 11, 2022, that people who drink red wine had a 17 percent lower risk of catching Covid, while those who drank white wine had an 8 percent lower chance, compared to non-drinkers.
Experts believe this is due to the polyphenol content, which can inhibit the effect of viruses such as flu and respiratory tract-related infections.

Cheers to that!
